This is the hotel I recommend to my friend last time when he visited Hong Kong. He requested to stay in a Hotel which close to Mong Kok shopping area and not far from MTR station. And of course , the price less than HKD1,000 per night will be perfect. Finally, I have found “M1 Hotel” which meet his criteria, it is around HK800 (include tax) and plus breakfast.

How to get to the Hotel
The hotel is not located in Mong Kok station, it is located in Yau Ma Tei Station. After you arrive Yau Ma Tei Station, walk to B1 exit.
After you walk out of Exit B1, cross the road and turn right to the alley.
After that you will see the road sign Portland Street (砵蘭街), you will see the Hotel.

It is a boutique hotel , so the lobby area is quite small.
This is the Deluxe Room at 27 floor.
A Double bed. Good enough for two people. Furthermore, hotel provide free Wifi for all guests.
Toilet and bathroom and pretty small, but it is tidy and clear.
From M1 Hotel to Lady street, it is around 10 minutes walk, so it is pretty close.
If you are looking for a hotel near MongKok area and you are looking for hotel price less than HK1,000 dollars. This is the hotel I truly recommend. Although the room is small, it is very clean and comfort.
