One of my readers has dropped me a email today and said she found a Hertz discount code which give her 50% off discount when she book on Hertz website.
She told me she input “1691556” in the Discount/CDP/Club Code field and she able to get around 50% off discount code.
After that, I try this code on Hertz official website as well:

I put Perth Airport as my pick up destination and below are the screenshots with and without the discount code. Below first screenshot is without discount code, for Audi A3, it is AUD 81.18 and AUD 109.18 per Weekend day.
Look at below screenshot using above discount code. It is AUD42 per day only and it is rate 2 plan! It is more than 50% off !
However, the discount rate is varies depends on car model. For Toyota Corolla, the normal rate is AUD 43.42 for rate 1 and AUD71.42 for rate 2.
Using this discount code, it is AUD44 per day and it is rate 2 plan. It is around 30% off.
Please note that this rate also reduce some extra fee like Vehicle Registration recovery and Admin Recovery.
Currently there is no expiry date set for this discount code.
My Conclusion
My reader told me about this discount code and she has used this code when travel to Australia early this year. She has no problem when picking up the car and Hertz employee didn’t ask her anything about using this discount code.
This CDP discount code “1691556” probably only work for Australia. But you can try to use this code for other destinations. It may still able to gives you discount.(Who knows!)
