I checked Bangkok Aloft hotel, it is doing 35% off. The rate is HK$583 including tax for one night. 
My Conclusion
When you making your search, make sure you have selected “Lowest Standard Rate” to bring up the lowest rate.
I don’t like Starwood promotion because even having this promotion, some hotels actually offering a lower rate plan comparing with this “DAILY50” rate which make this promotion no sense at all.
