My Conclusion
5,000 bonus Etihad Guest miles is a very good promotion and according to the terms and conditions, there are no requirement for the minimum amount to spend. You can easily book 1 night of the cheapest hotels to take advantage of this promotion.
I am not so sure about Rocketmiles, but Kaligo.com allow you to earn miles just on hotel bookings(without actually check-in the hotel). You can try to search for the lowest rate and book just for one night to see if you are able to get the 5,000 bonus miles plus the basic miles.
If you prefer to have Asia Miles rather than Etihad Guest Miles, you can check this latest promotion which you can get 3,000 free bonus Asia Miles on your first booking. I will take more about this promotion in the next article.
