Radisson has a MegaPoints hotel promotion for 10,000 bonus points per night in at least six hotels in the USA. Possibly there are more participating hotels, but there is no general promotion page I have seen with a hotel list.

The general deal is the MegaPoints rate is $20 higher than Best Available Rate. Radisson runs promotions for up to 25% off Advance Purchase nonrefundable rates which can mean a lower rate if you are willing to book a nonrefundable rate. AAA rates are usually 10% off and generally have same cancellation policy as the Best Available Rate
Club Carlson points are worth about $5 per 1,000 points or up to double that value if you have a Club Carlson Visa card and book a two night award stay on points receiving the one night free benefit.
In my opinion, the ability to buy 10,000 bonus points per night for a $20 to $40 premium is a good way to earn Club Carlson points.
