New York Park Hyatt – The 25-floor property is making its debut on West 57th Street in the area known as Billionaires Row for its residential skyscrapers with apartments costing tens of millions of dollars.
The hotel will open on 12 Aug 2014 and they are now accepting reservations for arrivals from August 12, 2014 and beyond. They are offering 10% off the Hyatt Daily Rate if you book 7-day in advance. The basic room of Park Pyatt New York has about 484 sq.ft and the price is starting from USD753 per night

I have tried to book one night at 19 Aug 2014 and the price is USD753.
My conclusion
Usually when new hotels open, Hyatt offer extra points and other grand opening discount offer. I suggest if your plan is not firm yet, you can wait for a while to see if Hyatt has other discount offer for this new property.
