Maldives weather is tropical hot, humid and dry. It enjoys pleasant temperatures all year round that feature two main weather conditions, the dry and rainy season. The dry season is between end of September until end of March and the rainy season is between end of April and end of September. The temperatures during the dry season range from 25°C to 29°C

When is the best travel season from opinion?
While planning your pleasure trip to the island of Maldives, it is important to be aware about the best time to visit Maldives. The most important factor that needs to be borne in mind is the weather and your budget.
If you want to take the good pictures in Maldives, avoid rainy season. (See such beautiful picture I took on Lily Beach Resorts)
There is no right or wrong answer for this question. Rainy day in Maldives usually not last long and it usually last for 30 minutes to maximum of 1 hour. My friend went to Maldives during November (which was good season) last year and they said it was rained twice a day and the holiday was spoiled. They changed their scheduled activities due to the bad weather. So even you travel between October to March, it stills has probabilities that you meet the rainy days during your stay.
And travel to Maldives between October to end of March also has one big problem. Its COST! The rate of the hotels and resorts in Maldives usually gone up almost 60% during this period but there will be no guarantee you will have good weather. Therefore, some people suggest to visit the Maldives is March to April (outside the Easter holidays) when you may be blessed with dry weather and quiet resorts. However, prices will still be higher than during the wet season. And some people also suggest to visit on May – June, you can pay 30-40% less for your stay compare with the peak seasons.
