IHG Rewards Club has a new bonus points promotion called “Set into Sights” which similar to the previous promo “Into the nights”. When you finish all the tasks required you can get 50,500 bonus points.

What can you do with 50,500 points?
1. Get 10 free nights at PointBreaks promotion. (Twice a month)
2. Stay up to 5 nights at holiday inn Hotel
3. Stay up to 2 nights at Crowne Plaza Hotel
4. Stay up to 1 night at Intercontinental Hotel

Below are the tasks I get for my account (Club membership)
Most of the club members get the same task as me. Some of them got the last task a little bit different. For the last task, it required to stay at 2 number of brands but some required to stay at 2 different Crowne Plaza Hotels.
You may be confused there are 5 tasks need to do. However it is actually what I need to do to get 50,500 points. See below steps:
1. Download IHG App and login.
2. Go to www.ihg.com and book 2 nights stay at Holiday Inn which include a Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday night.
3. Book 1 night stay at Holiday Inn Express or Holday Inn Resort or Crowne Plaza.
So with just 3 nights stay I will get 50,500 bonus points. So easy!
Here are my suggestions:
1. Seems new joiners will get easier tasks. So register a new account to play “Set into Sights” see if you can get a better tasks.
2. Your residence address affect the task you get. I have another account which the residence address is set to US. The last task I get is to stay at Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Club Vacations. Holiday Inn Club Vacations hotels are located in US only. So I don’t think I can accomplish this task. (See below screenshot)

Please note that this promo start at January 1, 2015. Make sure you have registered for this promotion before you book your stay.
